Big day, Mommy is trying her hand at making my food from scratch. Funny thing is she never cooks this much for Dad, so I feel special. I sure love my Butternut Squash. She swears by the Beaba Babycook machine and the First Meals Cookbook says it made it all worth while. For a good resource I recommend http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com...
The funny part of this Mommy adventure is that she decided she was going to chop, steam and puree mass amounts of fresh fruits and veggies so she could freeze them in an ice cube tray and serve them up later. What the books neglected to mention or maybe Mommy should have know is that adding water to get that perfect consistency is not good in the long run if you plan to freeze. When she took out her cubes to reheat with the Beaba Babycook which does everything by the way except serve the goods. Her hard work melted to a liquid form. Not so good unless she plans to give me a straw. So we laughed it off as usual and she’s now trying it again with out adding liquid prior to freezing.. Stay tuned…

If only I could of told Mom before I was born that the cute modern decor conscious toys, gyms & bouncys things aren’t my style. Why? she asks… because I prefer the ones that are covered with several bright plastic play things. The more the better. The activity gym she bought to go with my beautiful nursery just wasn’t cutting it. As my Grandma & Grandpa can tell you the Evenflo ExerSaucer SmartSteps – ABC is the way to go, my Grandparents (both sides) have the exact play thing. When we got home from the holidays my adorable jungle themed activity center was lacking. It looked to be drab and boring so I lost my spunk. Mom & Dad were happy to find a gently used but easily cleaned spottless Evenflo Saucer at Once Upon a Child for a good deal. Thanks Mommy & Daddy my days are more fun filled! Now you can do the dishes.

The night before last Mommy took away my binky. I’m guessing it has something to do with the fact that I keep having to look for it in the middle of the night. Nothing makes me more mad then when that thing falls out and I have to wake up and look for it. So what if i fuss! Or am I better off for not having it? Mommy looked so happy this morning when I slept through the night with out it. She said it was one less battle since the cats are still driving her crazy.

Hello Big People,
My name is Poppy and I feel that I have a voice that needs to be heard even though I’m only six months old. I have a lot of stuff to get off my tiny chest and i feel this is the perfect place to do it. I’m here to help Moms and Dads find baby products that rock. Chances are if I like this stuff your kids will too.
My posts are not for any sweets or paid promos, though I do accept freebies from cool people for possible plugs because I’m good like that. I’ll be posting my honest thoughts on lots of products so my fellow friends will be in the know.
As for my Peas & Q’s? don’t mind my spelling or grammar, I’ve got lots to learn.
